Pumkin Buttercup

This pumpkin variety, known as the Buttercup, has a pear-like shape and features a light golden edible skin. Its dry orange flesh is exceptionally sweet and pairs well with an array of dishes. When selecting pumpkins, make sure they have thick, unbroken skin and feel firm with minimal blemishes. Cut pumpkins should have moist, brightly colored flesh. Keep whole pumpkins in a cool, airy location for up to a month, and store cut pumpkins in the refrigerator. The prime time for these pumpkins is during the autumn season.
